Ukrainian Women’s Battalion Receives Significant Aid from “Podorozhnyk” Pharmacy Chain
The NGO “Ukrainian Women’s Battalion” continues to support women performing important combat missions. One of their key priorities is the health of our female defenders. The UWB has received a significant batch of medications from the “Podorozhnyk” pharmacy chain, which will help the women stay in service and effectively perform their duties. The medication shipment will reach the female defenders at their positions very soon.
The donated aid includes painkillers, hemostatic agents, antibiotics, antiviral medications, anti-inflammatory drugs, sorbents, vitamins, antihistamines, and much more. An important part of the assistance includes medications for the cardiovascular system, hormonal agents, and systemic antibiotics. In total, nearly 1,000 packages of 60 different types of medications were donated. At the frontlines, where access to medical services is limited, these medicines are critically important for maintaining the health of women who face particularly high physical demands.
The Ukrainian Women’s Battalion was founded in 2022 and unites over 50 women who raise funds and purchase military equipment for Ukrainian female defenders. Additionally, the organization supports women affected by the war. For its activities, the UWB received the “Golden Heart” award from the President of Ukraine.
“In total, the Ukrainian Women’s Battalion cares for more than 200 women, and each of them must be healthy and ready to perform combat missions. We are grateful to the ‘Podorozhnyk’ pharmacy chain for this significant support and for helping us obtain everything necessary for treatment and prevention,” the UWB emphasizes.
