About us
NGO "Ukrainian Women's Battalion"
A team of more than 50 women united by the common goal of being a reliable home front for defenders of Ukraine in the war started by russia.
Among us are translators, musicians, journalists, doctors, historians, teachers and athletes. We met war in different places and have different experiences of living it. But each of us is doing everything possible for the fastest victory of Ukraine.
History of creation
“Something must be done!”—Alona realized. And so the story began…
The Ukrainian Women’s Battalion was founded in March 2022 by Alona Danilova, who called on women to unite in support of Ukraine.
Within a short time, the community grew to 50 volunteers, and on October 5, 2022, it officially became a non-governmental organization.
Our goals

Help Ukrainian defenders by fulfilling the need for protective military equipment.

Support women affected by the war and become their mouthpiece in the Ukrainian media space.

To popularize Ukrainian culture and cleanse it of russian influence, telling about modern events and historical heritage.

To show the world the real life of Ukrainians during the war with the help of their own media projects.
