Kutia is on the table, the Christmas tree is sparkling with colors, and the first star in the sky promises peace.

This is the Christmas for Ukrainians in relatively peaceful areas.

What is Christmas like for those who lost their freedom fighting for Ukraine?

Christmas for prisoners is dark, hungry and bloody.

For some it is the first one, for others the tenth.

Some have lost track of time, maybe even their minds, and some have lost their lives.

This post should not cause guilt. Dear Ukrainians, celebrate and give joy to yourselves and your families. However, remember the heroes who are waiting to be released. Talk about them, write about them, don’t forget them and believe in their return home. Let’s fight for them….
