On December 21, 2022, a charity event was launched by the volunteers of the Ukrainian Women’s Battalion NGO called: “Give Christmas to the military in Bakhmut”. We did not even expect such a result. Instead of helping two brigades, we were able to fulfill the requests of eight.

Everyone could become a Secret Santa for our defenders. The participants had the opportunity to choose what kind of gift they wanted to send to the defenders at the front line, or they could make a donation for which the volunteers would buy the necessary items themselves.

The team of the Ukrainian Women’s Battalion is incredibly happy and grateful to everyone who took part in this initiative. It is thanks to your donations and gifts that we have sent the military:

• warm gloves – 84 pcs;
• tactical gloves – 45 pcs;
• tactical knee pads – 20 pcs;
• tactical elbow pads – 30 pcs;
• tactical goggles – 51 pcs;
• tactical headphones – 5 pcs;
• headlamps – 30 pcs;
• ordinary flashlights – 20 pcs;
• sets of thermal underwear – 20 pcs;
• fleece jackets – 20 pcs;
• army hats – 20 pcs;
• mattresses – 24 pcs;
• white camouflage netting – 1 pc;
• kettles for a stove – 6 pcs;
• electric kettles – 10 pcs;
• wet napkins – 28 pcs;
• paper towels – 8 pcs;
• toilet paper – 356 rolls;
• trench candles – 150 pcs;
• the request for medicines was exceeded and not only with medicines from the list.

It was a challenge for our team, but together with you we did it!
