Give Christmas to the military
The festive charity initiative "Give Christmas to the military" is over! 🎉
“Give Christmas to the Military” is a charitable initiative aimed at meeting the urgent humanitarian needs of the military.
Each person who cares chose an item (or several) from the list of needs from the military, which was compiled by UWB volunteers according to the requests of Ukraine’s defenders. People sent packages, and we sorted everything and sent it to the military.
We are organising it for the second time, and for the second time we are extremely happy to see such a zeal and willingness to help the military😍 Thank you, Ukrainians, with your help we were able to send it:
- medicine;
- medical tourniquets;
- thermal underwear, socks, gloves, buffs, balaclavas, jackets and trousers;
- combat boots and rubber boots;
- kitchen utensils;
- hygiene products;
- plaid blankets, thermal blankets, pillows, and sleeping mats;
- hand warmers;
- various tools;
- powerbanks, radio stations, binoculars, tactical headphones, and flashlights;
- sweets, and your letters with pictures.
Without our partners’ help, we would not have been able to accomplish this amount of work. That is why we express our boundless gratitude:
The company “Nova Poshta” for the opportunity to send parcels to the military for free.
Pharmacy chain “Zdorovaya Rodyna” for the boxes of true health.
Tacmedicine Company for free occlusive dressing, nasopharyngeal tubes, and decompression needles
LLC “VK ”Prostir” for 22 donated medical tourniquets that save lives.
During the project, we collected 271 243,62 UAH and covered the needs that remained open after the end of the campaign:
We used the funds to make the purchase:
110 000 UAH – 50 jackets
87 060 UAH – 29 pairs of combat boots
63 360 UAH – 128 sets of thermal underwear
5 175 UAH – sleeping bag
2 455,75 UAH – jack
Total amount spent: 268 050,75 UAH (excluding the cost of services)
Most of the parcels have been received. In the photos you can see the military, who are already tasting your sweets and reading warm words of gratitude. You can’t see their faces in the photo for security reasons, but they are smiling. Follow us so you don’t miss the reports!
We are grateful to each and every one of you for giving a piece of Christmas to the military. Because the people who joined the holiday campaign not only donated such necessary things, but also warmed the hearts of the defenders.
